The European conference on “Islam and Human Rights in the European Union” was organised by the European Consortium for Chruch and State Research, by the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and held in Thessaloniki, Greece (23-25 September 2021). The conference gathered scholars, researchers and professors all over Europe in order to send a powerful message on dialogue, peaceful coexistence, and respect for cultural diversity.
Professor Francis Messner’s intervention addressed the following topic, “Respect human rights by reconciling the rights of Muslim communities and the religious policies of the State”.
