Moussa Abou Ramadan is a Professor of Muslim Law and Islamology at the University of Strasbourg. He is a member of the UMR DRES 7354 / CNRS research unit. He is also in charge of the teaching of the Master in Islamology, Law and Management. His interests are articulated around Muslim law (fiqh), Muslim legal theory (usul-al-fiqh) and logic (mantiq).
His teaching and research focus on both theoretical and practical Muslim law: Muslim family law, international Muslim law, Muslim contract law, Muslim legal theory, codification of Muslim law, Arabic logic and legal theory.
