In an evolving academic landscape, courses in interreligious studies are rare. INTER-RELIGIO offers a program focusing on interreligious study and a sharing of knowledge between the different religions. This course is offered at several entry, duration and qualification levels at the three universities of Strasbourg, Basel and Heidelberg.

Diplôme d’Université (FR) / Certificate of Advanced Studies (CH) / Fakultätszertifikat (DE)

Short term training on the knowledge, practices and foundations of the inter-religions, accessible from the baccalauréat (A level) or by recognition of professional experience, and terminating with a diploma.

Master’s Degree

Specialised Master’s, in-depth study of the practices and foundations of the inter-religions, as to competences on the public policies and the interfaith institutions.

Teaching Unit

Independent teaching unit, to train in the methodology of reading religious texts and to know more about how theology is developed.
