Sophie-Hélène Trigeaud (Lizentiat in Philosophie, Option Arabisch und Sanskrit und in Ethno-Anthropologie, MA in Ethno-Anthropologie, Doktorat des Centre d’Études Interdisciplinaire du Fait Religieux de l’EHESS, qualifiziert als Lehrbeauftragte [Maître de conférence] in Soziologie und Anthropologie) ist Post-Doktorandin des Projekts INTER-RELIGIO. Sie hat an der Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), an der Universität Paris XII, am Institut National du Sport (INSEP) und am Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP) unterrichtet und war drei Jahre lang als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Universität Kent/Canterbury im Programm Religious NGOs at the United Nations beschäftigt. Sie hat Forschungsarbeiten in Europa und Nordamerika durchgeführt und mit der Association for the Sociology of Religion/USA zusammengearbeitet. Ihre Arbeiten beschäftigen sich vor allem mit der Religion unserer Zeit, mit katholischen Wallfahrtsorten, mit konfessionellen Nichtregierungsorganisationen der Vereinten Nationen und mit neuen Religionen und Minderheiten.
